Leonard Weber

Leonard Weber  (American 1918-2018)

American watercolorist known for his townscapes in New England. Leonard Weber began his Townscape Collection in 1980. Since then, he has painted more than fifty cities, towns, villages, restorations and historical sites, ranging in size from his small hometown of Monterey, Massachusetts to West 57th Street in New York City.

The Townscape Collection are watercolors, created on location, each capturing a unique moment in the time, space, and history of the community.

In recent years, Leonard Webers Townscapes have gained national recognition and his prints are on exhibit in Portugal, England, Taiwan, Japan, Bermuda and throughout the United States.
